How CandidLane makes money
CandidLane is free to read and carries no display advertising. We are funded by affiliate commissions: when you follow a link from this site to a provider and go on to sign up or buy, that provider may pay us a fee. You never pay more because of it, and the price you see is the price you would get going direct.
We hold affiliate relationships with many — but not all — of the products and services covered on this site. Some of the providers we rank highly pay us nothing at all, and we list them on exactly the same terms as the ones that do.
What commissions do influence
We are direct about this, because vague disclosure is worse than none:
- Which providers have a clickable "visit site" or "get deal" button rather than a plain mention.
- Which offers appear in non-ranking modules such as deal callouts and sidebars.
- Which categories we prioritise building out first, since we have to fund the research somehow.
What commissions never influence
- Scores. Every score comes from the published criteria and the evidence we gathered, and nothing else.
- Ranking order. Positions are set by score. A provider cannot buy a higher one.
- Criticism. No provider has the right to review, soften, or remove anything we write about them.
- Inclusion. A provider cannot pay to be added to a comparison, and declining to partner with us is not grounds for exclusion.
No provider sees our content before it is published. We do not accept payment for reviews, sponsored placements dressed up as editorial, or guest posts.

Pricing and promotional details are gathered from publicly available sources at the time of writing and can change without notice. Always confirm the current price and terms on the provider's own site before you commit.
